Accessibility in Slitherlink - Colors, Keyboard and Mouse Modes

Slitherlink: Line Logic lists Color Alternatives, Keyboard Only and Mouse Only options among its Steam features. What each means for comfortable play.

The feature list includes three accessibility-friendly options: Color Alternatives, Keyboard Only Option, and Mouse Only Option — all confirmed feature categories on the official Steam page. (Source: Steam store page)

Color Alternatives

The game offers alternative color schemes. For a puzzle about numbers and lines, color flexibility matters: players with color-vision sensitivity, or anyone staring at grids for a long daily puzzle session, can pick a palette that stays comfortable. The exact palettes are visible in-game; we will not guess them here.

Keyboard Only Option

The whole game is playable with keyboard alone — a confirmed category. For a grid puzzle this typically means cursor movement plus an action key to toggle line/cross states per edge. (input mapping specifics are not documented; in-game settings are authoritative)

Mouse Only Option

Conversely, everything is playable with mouse alone — also confirmed. Between the two, you can solve however you sit: trackpad on a sofa, keyboard at a desk.

Why This Matters for a Logic Game (community note)

Slitherlink sessions are long and repetitive by nature — the official page promises 12,000+ puzzles (source: Steam page), so comfortable input and colors are not luxuries, they are session extenders. If any option causes strain, the alternatives exist by design.

FAQ

Are there other accessibility options? Only these three are confirmed in the Steam feature categories. Watch the official page for updates.
